I would like to apologize on not keeping up with my blog. But I have a huge praise, and to let you guys know a challenge that was placed on my heart. So as you know the trip ultimately costs $9,500 plus arifare which is about $1,200 which you have to purchase ahead of time with your own money, and then what most of us FYMers do is we tack on that 1,200 to the 9,500 cost of the trip and ask for $10,700 in our support letters and we make that a goal for ourselves, to get riembersed for the money we have to spent on those plane flights. Now I don't beleive I've been goin about this right, it didn't take me much to figure this out, my pastor just needed to mention this to me once for me to go, that was pretty stupid I never thought about or did that, and what I was convicted of was I was looking for my supporters to support me with evey single pennie of the trip and for me to pay nothing. So I am not looking for any rembursments for my plane flights I will be supporting myself with $1,200, why it's this amount, I need something to stretch me and put me out of my comforte zone. So I know this blog is long but the second part of the blog is, I 've calculated all me support out and what my supporters have given and with the monthly and the one time gifts I have $8,960 out of the $9,500 raised. And I spoke to my parents and they agreed right before I leave they will pick up all the slack that lacks in my support, because support is still coming in, so anything that is left over that I need, they will cover. So to make a long story short, Praise the Lord I have all of my support raised for my FYM to England. God is pretty awesome.
