One of the ministries I get to be a part of here in Salford, England, is school clubs. At these school clubs we get to share stories about Jesus. Today we had a lesson about Gossip and what Jesus thinks about Gossip, and then it hit me all of these children already know these stories about Jesus they are very similar to the kids back in the states, I think this is odd because the youth are so so much different. After being here for a while I've realized that the children pretty much know all the basic stories about Jesus, they love Jesus. But here is where it gets different, there is something that happens in between primary school and Hi-School and it breaks my heart, this is the age where it seems Jesus disappears, Jesus disappears because in primary schools the kids are taught about Jesus, so they have a tool to use and to tie into, but after that when they become youth the youth have nothing to tie into. Jesus just fades, he turns into this distant cloud, this is what makes ministry here really difficult, because in all reality I'm here till May and then after that what do the youth have to tie into, what are the children going to tie into. I said ministry is tough, but not impossible, nothing is impossible with God (Phil. 4:13) I will give it everything I got to make a difference, to change this dark place, I will give it my all to light a fire here in England something needs to change and I pray to God that he would work through me to change this place. I ask you know could you be praying for all this, could you pray for a revival.ย
